At the age of 20 he was fired from his teaching job in a Chinese Presbyterian school because he did not consider the Presbyterian doctrine of baptism, wherein that dismal candidates were “sprinkled” by the clergyman while standing upright in the church, to be biblical. Wang felt that baptism required full immersion. He began his ministry in a tiny courtyard of his mother and sister’s home in Peking.
